President Bush's Last Day

The White House has released the president's schedule for Inauguration Day, and it begins with a visit between President Bush, President-elect Obama, and their wives on the North Portico of the White House around 10:00 AM.

Shortly thereafter, the four will share coffee inside the White House, along with Vice President-elect Joe Biden and the Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies Leadership.

President and Mrs. Bush will then travel in a motorcade to the United States Capitol, where they will participate in the swearing-in ceremony for Mr. Obama, which begins at 11:30.

At 1:25, the now-former president will speak at a departure ceremony at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland. He will then fly to Midland, Texas, where he will speak at a welcome home event in the late afternoon. That will be followed by another welcome home event in Waco, Texas, the final event on Mr. Bush's schedule for the day.

Hours later, Mr. Bush will go to sleep as a private citizen for the first time in eight years at his ranch in Crawford.

It almost brought me to tears !! It is really a sad day for us as a country and so very many do not any see this in any way ..I Praise GOD for George and Laura Bush and no matter what some people say I appreciate there moral values and there Love and Faith in GOD which I really do not know about this IN THE NEW PESIDENT .I WILL BE PRAYING FOR OBAMA THAT SOME HOW SOME WAY THRU GOD''S MARICLES CAN LEAD THIS COUNTRY IN THE WAY IT NEEDS TO GO... MAY GOD BLESS US ALL

I just cried watching Bush''s plane take off from the base he was a great president and will be missed in this family.

Oh...and if Osama is going to be so transparent as he says.....then why oh why did he have his Colombia University paper he wrote sealed so none of us could read it.

Oh..and did anyone notice that on his ''Supposed'' birth certificate it referred to him as an Afro-American.

I was born the same year he was in 1961....and guess what...that term was not used back then. Back then on birth certificates you were either black or white.....no such term was used as an African-American then.

Yep...your president Osama....is not even an American citizen.

And in fact the majority of the people I talk to who say they hate you...are actually incapable of even discussing current world events, or history.

They have no idea who Kim Jong Il is...or Vladimir Putin....or President Hu is.....ignorance is rampant in American....and most of the people who say they hate you are actually totally clueless about anything that is even going on it the world.....all they know is that they hate you because the media tells them they should hate you.

Ignorant people are always the first to jump on ''HATE BANDWAGONS''.

President Bush I wish you a long a happy retirement..You certainly deserve it.

Unlike....most Americans....I blame Congress (with their 8% rating under the leadership of Nancy Pelosi and all her ineffective, divisive democrats and the divisive media for where we are today.

Thank you for keeping our country safe for the past 8 years.

I did not agree with everything you did.....nor will there ever be a President which EVERYONE does agree.

I feel you got a bad rap while in office and you seemed to be everyone''s SCAPEGOAT....of course it could not possible have anything to do with our ineffective Cogress could it?

Someday.....someone will write a book title "GW A Man Ahead of his Time". And I''m sure that one day...history will show that your fight freedom it the Middle East will pay off and those people in the Middle East will be forever grateful to you for their Freedom.

It seems in present day in American......Ignorance is Bliss!

There are those that DO in fact love you Mr. President and I admire you for standing up for what you believe in....instead of pandering to the media and their stupid Liberal polls.

You are in fact A GREAT MAN and I myself consider you a GREAT PRESIDENT.

People with small minds are only capable of seeing what is right in front of their face, unable to see the whole big picture. You are a visionary while most people not capable of seeing past their nose.

Eventhough I didn''t vote for George W, and the country didn''t do too well on his watch, I love him as a person. I hope he has a wonderful retirement and can laugh and love for many many years. Millie

I was worried that he would pardon all he Bush Crime family terrorists before he left. Hopefully they cut a deal so that they would not send Bushoccio to prison as long as he didn''t pardon his fellow war criminals.

Thank you, President Bush, for keeping us safe since September 11th. God Bless you and your family. You will always be in our thoughts and prayers.
Please pray for us, too. We''ve not had a Marxist as President before, and we haven''t had to deal with a Keynsian since FDR.

I am in complete agreeance with Weslyjl, President Bush has been a wonderful president and Obama has no experiance at all for this office and he is going to be nothing but a big waste of time. He was put their on lies and promises he of course cant keep, the black man, women and every minority put him there. Have we ever asked about his qualifications for this office? No, people just say they want change. Change is great, but for someone who can create change how has the history and backing to do so. That is why Sen. McCain was the right choice. God Bless you President Bush and First Lady Laura Bush.

Tomorrow January 20 2008, a day that will live in Infamy, the USA embarks on what will be the darkest hours of its existence, a time that will be governed by a man totally unqualified for the job, he got the job with lies and promises that he cannot keep, he will ruin this country trying to keep his hold on it.

Thanks to president Bush for his exemplary service for the past 8 years, I wish him well in the rest of his life

Pres. Bush will be recorded as the worst president in U. S. history. His arrogance and ego caused him to make one mistake after another. He listened to his crackpot advisers who repeatedly gave him bad advice. He and his aides have created the worst crisis America has faced since the civil war. We will be paying for his incompetence for decades to come while he rides off to a trouble free life supported by taxpayer dollars while the majority of Americans suffer personally and financially. Goodbye and sleep well while we struggle to survive on the pittance we have left from your DESPICABLE LEGACY!!!

He will be missed more and more with each passing day. One day, people will again be ready to take personal responsibility having come to realize that the handouts that were offered were no more than lies designed to enslave and impoversh them. Under his watch, we were prosperous and at peace within our boarders. We will come to value that more and more and be dismayed by how easily we were distracted by the non-issues of Guantanamo Bay and Global Warming and recognize them for the straw men that they are, set up to mask the agenda to grab absolute power in order to impoversh us all. And hopefully we will be ashamed at our lack of thankfulness for all that we had and how willing we were to destroy it all by lifting up evil and destroying the foundation of good that could have been the legacy left for our posterity. But instead they will be left with debt, war, famine and disease. Because this country forgot its Creator and embraced immorality and trained it in our schools and universities and now it has taken over all of those institutions as well as Wall Street, Main Street and governement at every level. We are about to live out the proverb: When evil men rule, good men go into hiding.
