Bush Gets Cortisone Shot For Ailing Shoulder

President Bush received a cortisone shot on his left shoulder after undergoing an MRI on Monday, a White House spokesman told CBS News White House correspondent Mark Knoller.

Bush, who had complained of pain in his shoulder, had the exam during a visit to Walter Reed Army Medical Center to visit troops suffering from war-related injuries.

As he left the hospital, Bush said his shoulder was in "good shape."

The baseball-loving president quipped that he'd be ready to take the mound in no time.

"About an 80 mile-an-hour fastball," he said.
