Obama: McCain's in Cahoots With "Joe the CEO"

(CBS)
From CBS News' Maria Gavrilovic:

(RICHMOND, VA.) - Barack Obama brought two more Joe’s to the spotlight today, “Joe the Hedge Fund Manager” and “Joe the CEO,” as he continued to aggressively defend his tax plan. During a rally at the Richmond Coliseum, Obama argued that he is on "Joe the Plumber’s" side while the more affluent Joes are allied with John McCain.

“Joe’s cool, I got no problems with Joe. All I want to do is give Joe a tax cut,” he said referring the Ohio plumber.

“But let’s be clear who John McCain’s fighting for. He’s not fighting for 'Joe the Plumber', he’s fighting for 'Joe the Hedge Fund Manager'. John McCain likes to talk about 'Joe the Plumber' but he’s in cahoots with 'Joe the CEO.'”

McCain spokesman Tucker Bounds quickly responded to the charge, noting that Obama met with Google CEO Eric Schmidt in Florida yesterday. “Not only was he meeting with rich CEOs yesterday, it’s Barack Obama who has taken more campaign cash from ‘Joe Hedge Fund’ than any other candidate,” Bounds said in a statement.

At the rally, Obama made several attempts to explain and defend his plan to roll back the Bush tax cuts.

“Let me just see a show of hands – how many people make less than a quarter million,” Obama asked the crowd of more than 10,000. After the majority raised their hand, Obama promised cut their taxes and said he was willing to raise his own.

“I do want to roll back the Bush tax cuts for people like me, I don’t need a tax cut. I didn’t need it back in 2000, or 2001, 2002,” he explained. “So me rolling back those tax cuts on the wealthiest Americans so we can give relief to the nurse to the teacher and the bus driver and the janitor.”

The simplistic distractions are planned to keep voters from thinking about how much poor judgment (Like Keating Five, the relationship with the Bin Ladin family and the last eight years of agreeing with the administration on war and deregulation) costs Americans in resources and in life and limb.

The special interests and lobby groups want to buy government decisions on the cheap and take advantage of Americans without having to deal with the complex results that might cripple our nation. We are too lax about the possibility that we might be represented by those from the bottom of their class and that we might be making it easy for the special interest lobby groups to take advantage of us. Again!!!

We have lost planes due to neglect in the timely study of flight manuals. We have lost lives and livelihood due to neglect in the timely study of intelligence information. We have lost a solid economy due to neglect in the timely study of needed regulations and deregulations. We have lost our standing in the world due to neglect in the timely study of diplomacy and when and how to successfully use it. Our country has had to have an expensive surge with financial payments to those who would oppose and expensive bailouts with hopes that these, although expensive, will fix some of the poor judgment and will work in the long run.

Start spreading the news
BERG v. OBAMA et al
Plaintiff Philip J. Berg alleged that Defendant Barack Obama is not eligible for the Office of the President because Obama lost his U.S. citizenship when his mother married an Indonesian citizen and naturalized in Indonesia. Plaintiff further alleged that Obama followed her naturalization and failed to take an oath of allegiance when he turned 18 years old to regain his U.S. citizenship status.

Our Constitution is at risk. Where is the MEDIA???Obama has been asked by the courts to prove his eligibility to be President by providing proof of citizenship. Mr. Berg is a lawyer and a Democrat. As of yesterday neither Obama nor the DNC has provided evidence and over the past month has filed motion after motion to dismiss this lawsuit filed in Philadelphia PA. Why not just produce the proof and end the mystery? Follow the link and read the actual court filed documentshttp://docs.justia.com/cases/fe

e/2:2008cv04083/281573/27/ This is latest document posted out of 27 filed. Here is a link to all of them.http://dockets.justia.com/docket/co
urt-paedce/case_no-2:2008cv04083/case_id
-281573/ If Obama is elected and it is later discovered that he is not a citizen then the Constitution is useless.

Wow,can''t believe everyone forgot that capitalism was the entity that originally made this nation strong.Yes the rich are rich because they either worked for it or were born into it.IT''S HOW JOBS ARE CREATED!!
2ND, the PRESIDENT DOES NOT CONTROL THE ECONOMY, THE CONGRESS DOES!And it''s been going in the crapper ever since America voted for "change" in 2006 when the dems. took over.
The scariest part about Obama is the fact that the leaders of Iran, the Hamas, and Qadaffi himself have made comments supporting his presidency.

McCain wants to spread the wealth to the rich. The oil companies the CEOs that are earning millions and millions more than they need to be happy.

Is this the america you want?

McCain would be bad on security because he is impetuous and too ideological. He is erratic in a crisis. Too old now Im afraid. And his running mate is insane she doesnt even know what the job of a VP is and she isnt uncorrupted.

These guys are desperate: they almost called Obama a terrorist, called him a socialist and next week will probably call him a UFO.

It doesnt stick. They have run out of ideas, have weak character, have underestimated the american people.

Time for a change.

Anyone catch McCain of the radio this morning? He was on Bill Bennetts show. He made an interesting point regarding Bidens guarantee of an internatinal crisis. Biden was trying is some messed up way to draw a connection between Obama and Kennedy and in doing so he mentioned the Cuban missle crisis. McCain pointed out that he was around during that crisis. He was on an aircraft carrier off the coast of Cuba. He had his target list and was on standby to go blow the hell out of those guys.

Just reinforces the fact that these leftists are all talk and then balk.

Anyone wonder why so many wealthy people support Obama - for example, celebrities - even though they would receive tax increases? It''s because they are smart enough to realize that means the middle class will have more money to spend on THEIR businesses. So really that small tax raise means MORE money in their pockets.

This country is going to HE!! in a handbasket! Obama, will you ever be honest about who you have been and ever will be in cahoots with!? Say what you will about McCain, at least as far this blog is concerned, right or wrong, it at least attempts to identify who McCain is in cahoots with! When will you Obama fanatics open your eyes!? When will any of you liberals start demanding real answers of this guy? Instead, the liberal media focus on how much money has been spent on Palin''s wardrobe and such! What about Biden''s grim prediction about Obama''s first 6 months?

Just because McCain is a decorated hero doesn''t make him a good choice for President. Being FREE to choose who you have as a partner in America is our constitutional right as Americans, just because "GAY''S want civial unions doesn''t make them any less american. If that is how people feel , then why do all the businesses take there hard earned cash, why do they have to pay taxes if there concidered unamerican? Get off of it and let people be people and let''s make the best choice possible for the next President of the Untied States, lets pick B. O''Bama for President. I think at least the man will try to do his best, he knows there are too many eyes watching him, McCaine doesn''t care whos'' watching, he is decorated hero.. Thanks for all you have done for the country John, but go home and lick your wounds and get out of the race.

Some degenerate commented "even God is voting for B.O". Obviously someone that doesnt know God. God or even a Child of God could and would never vote for Barack Hussien Obama. This election will clearly show the moral integrity of our Nation. 1 candidate stands for all forms of abortion (including infantacide),supports Homosexual unions, is a deciever and associates himself with the enemies our our country and way of life. He stands for everything that the God of christianity abhors. The other is a decorated war Hero, has a voting record that is open for review and has "proven" his loyality and love for this country and way of life in ways most of us will never know. Is against the things that are morally wrong and stands up for what he thinks is right. This should be a no-brainer right? Well this is no "normal generation". This is the age of the "degenerates". The generation that the television sets have raised and taught. We shall see in this election if our Nation is handed over to the foriegner and perhaps we''ll have a better understanding as to our(USA) role in the Tribulation thats in our Bibles. How "all" nations will be against Israel. And yes it''s what I am saying that "the evil will vote for the Evil" and the good will vote for the good. You are either evil or good, Democrat or Republican. There''s no middle ground, being a fool is no excuse. To Hell with Political Correctness.

The Karl Marx/Socialist/Anarchist argument is soooo very tired. In case anyone missed it your REPUBLICAN president along with his Republican Treasurer originally proposed the biggest Bailout using GOVERNMENT funds in history. It is George Bush who called for nationalizing the banks. And the Dems are the Socialist-give me a break!! Capitalize the profits and socialize the risks-the new America way. That is where GW led us and that is what McCain will continue. I''ll take my chances with Barrack. Besides there is no need to fear Obama we have already had the worst president in history. There is no where to go but up!

''Tucker Bounds''. Doesn''t that very name just SCREAM out, beat me up and take my lunch money.

As usual, the McCain talking airheads spin a web of mis-information. Obama was meeting with FINANCIAL and business persons for the purpose of exploring ways to get out of the Wall St fiasco and insure this never happens again. Being bedfellows with CEOs is McCain''s turf.

Obama takes action whereas McCain only takes another breath to spew out empty and ever changing ''plans''.

You want things done and done correctly? Vote Obama.

You want more empty promises and repeated screw-ups? Vote McCain.

We MUST elect Obama! We must leave this era of cronism, fearmongering, big spending, rampant ignorance and small mindedness behind. America has been slowly suffocating for eight years and Obama is the much needed breath of fresh air!!

Joe the CEO and Joe the Financier produce NOTHING. Workers produce goods and services, and workers buy those goods and services. The primary goal of Joe the CEO/Financier BY LAW is maximize profit, to the benefit of the wealthy.
