Obama Continues To Outspend McCain On Ads

Barack Obama, who declined public financing in the general election in favor of his powerful fundraising operation, is spending $3.5 million a day on television ads, the Competitive Media Analysis Group told Politico.

And if he does that from here through November 4th, CMAG’s Evan Tracey said, Obama will be spending “more than McCain got from the government for his entire general election campaign.”

The organization calculated that as of close of business last week, Obama had spent about $195 million on primary and general election ads, while John McCain and the Republican National Committee had spent less than $100 million.

In some areas, Politico notes, the spending gap is widening. One anecdotal example from the story: In the Washington DC market that reaches Northern Virginia, a densely-populated, contested portion of the battleground state, Obama ran 1,342 in the first three weeks of December. McCain ran just eight.

With the information age continuously growing, they see their neighbors do better and they want some of what their neighbors have. They think Obama will give it to them by playing Robin Hood. What do they have to lose. They are at the bottom of the capitalist totem pole and have no ability or desire to move up so they want stuff given to them. They would vote for Kim Job Il if there was a chance for them to get more stuff or punish the successful and rich who they blame for their failures.

Obama is playing to this premise even though everyone knows the bottom wont improve under him. They will just have a few extra dollars a month to blow on alcohol or a trip to the Golden Corral. Its just what we have become as a country. Successful people just have to work harder to pay for the bottom group. Only when we get sick of doing it will be look seriously at where are money is going and taking our talents elsewhere.

If the American electorate is foolish enough to elect Obama and his fellow Marxists to govern us, then we will, as a nation, truly deserve the horror that will follow. I will weep for my country, but I will work hard to crush these domestic enemies. As Captain John Paul Jones, the father of the American Navy, said to his British counterpart on the flaming deck of the Bon Homme Richard, "Strike my colors, Sir?.... I have not yet begun to fight"!!

"The real question this election year is:
Will Americans sell their souls to the Communist devil?

If that is the case, then the only way to get rid of the devil is through a bloody revolt.

When you vote, choose wisely."

IT IS BIZARRE TO HEAR A CONSERVATIVE TALK. LOOK AT WHAT DRIBBLES OUT OF THIER MOUTHS! IT SOUNDS LIKE THEY SHOULD HAVE STRAIGHTJACKETS ON!

Is anyone asking just WHERE all this money came from? No, of COURSE not. It should be investigated. I believe this is RECKLESS SPENDING. And WHO is funding him?

Well Katia327, let me introduce myself. I''m one of Obama''s contributors. I''ve given him almost $2000...so have my parents, my brother and sister-in-law, sister and brother-in-law. So have most of my friends and the people in the Obama supporter group in my neighborhood. So have many of my co-workers, and my friends from Facebook and Linked-In. These are all people I know and all of us have contributed small amounts many times over during the months Obama has been campaigning. We all keep track of how much we''ve given so we don''t exceed the limit, and we''re all extremely proud to be part of this. If you want to know where he''s getting his money, he''s getting from me and millions of others just like me.

If Obama is running circles around McCain now in campaign organization, imagine how well he''''ll govern with a little experience under his belt.

PLEASE. This isn''t about his ''organizational'' abilites. It''s ABOUT how much money he''s spending. Imagine how much he''ll spend of your tax dollars, once he gets in.

MEET SARAH PALIN%u2019S RADICAL RIGHT-WING PALS
http://www.salon.com/news/feature/2008/10/10/palin_chryson/

Extremists Mark Chryson and Steve Stoll helped launch Palin%u2019s political career in Alaska, and in return had influence over policy. %u201CHer door was open,%u201D says Chryson %u2014 and still is.

Though Chryson belongs to a fringe political party that advocates the secession of Alaska from the Union, he is not without peculiar influence in state politics, especially the rise of Sarah Palin. During the 1990s, when Chryson directed the AIP, he and another radical right-winger, Steve Stoll, played pivotal role in electing Palin as mayor of Wasilla and shaping her political agenda afterward. Both Stoll and Chryson not only contributed to Palin%u2019s campaign financially, they played major behind-the-scenes roles in the Palin camp before, during and after her victory.

Palin backed Chryson as he successfully advanced a host of anti-tax, pro-gun initiatives, including one that altered the state Constitution%u2019s language to better facilitate the formation of anti-government militias. She joined in their vendetta against several local officials they disliked, and listened to their advice about hiring. She attempted to name Stoll, a John Birch Society activist to an empty Wasilla City Council seat. %u201CEvery time I showed up her door was open,%u201D said Chryson. %u201CAnd that policy continued when she became governor.%u201D

On top of everything else (good policies, sound economic strategies, powerful endorsements, a steady hand, etc), the navigation of the Obama campaign is clearly superior to that of McCain. This team is showing they know how to strategize (and spell it), and they know how to execute. Compare this to the McCain team which appears consistently reactionary, lost, desperate, and defiant. The choice couldn''t be clearer. I can''t imagine anything McCain could possibly unveil tonight that would put him back in the race... no, wait. If he had Hillary Clinton as his VP pick, and if he had a comprehensive economic plan, and if he had a viable health plan, then maybe he could turn things around. But I really doubt he''s going to announce every single one of those tonight. Instead, he''ll probably just poke at irrelevant fear-mongering hot spots. Good night John, good night moon, good night Sarah with the red balloon. Sleep tight, America, in Ojamas. http://www.ojamas.us.
