Palin Again Says She Wants To Campaign In Michigan

(CBS)
From CBS News' Scott Conroy:

(GREENWOOD VILLAGE, Colo.) In Colorado for a morning fundraiser, Sarah Palin dropped by a diner and said she wanted to head back on the stump in Michigan, even though the McCain campaign has essentially given up on the states, pulling its advertising and staffers.

“Well as I said the other day, I would sure love to get to run to Michigan and make sure that Michigan knows that we haven’t given up there,” Palin said in response to a pool reporter’s question about falling poll numbers in key battleground state. “We care much about Michigan and every other state.”

Palin made her remarks after meeting with a group of Blue Star Mothers—an organization of moms who have children serving in the military—at Gunther Toody’s Diner outside Denver.

“I wish there where more hours in the day so that we could travel all over this great country and start speaking to more Americans,” Palin said.

Palin heads to the Los Angeles area this afternoon where she’ll hold a rally at a tennis stadium in Carson and an evening fundraiser in Orange County.

Though California is not considered a competitive state, senior Palin aide Tucker Eskew said that one of the reasons she was holding a rally there, instead of focusing entirely on fundraising, was to boost down-ballot candidates in the region.

On Monday, Palin heads to Florida for a series of rallies over two days where recent polls indicate a dead-even race in a state that many thought the Republican ticket would have the uppe rhand.

“I am not worried about it but just desiring more time and you know to put more effort in each one of these states,” Palin said.

We do not want to hear Palin reading from her cards here in Michigan. We want to hear someone that knows what their talking about. Not speeches written on cards. She''s trying to second guess MCcain already.

Who is Sarah Palin''s Campaign Staff?
IT IS "ALL BUSH ADVISORS ALL OF THE TIME" (4 More Years!)

----
Who were THE SIX advisors that taught Palin about foreign policy and create her "new image"?

Tucker Eskew, who ran strategic communications for the Bush White House (and ran Bush''s smear campaign in 2000)

Greg Jenkins, who served as the deputy assistant to Bush in his first term and was executive director of the 2004 inauguration

Nicolle Wallace was communications director at the Bush White House

Holtz-Eakin, who served as chief economist for Bush''s Council of Economic Advisers

Stephen E. Biegun, a former member of Bush''s National Security Council

Mark Wallace, a Bush appointee to the United Nations

----
OTHER BUSH PEOPLE RUNNING PALIN''S CAMPAIGN

Former Bush speechwriter, Matthew Scully, wrote Palin''s convention speech

Chris Edwards, a Bush advance man, is helping to stage-manage Palin''s appearances around the country.

Palin spokeswoman Tracey Schmitt worked on the Bush campaigns

Two other Palin press officers, Maria Comella and Ben Porritt, worked on Bush''s 2004 reelection campaign

W. Taylor Griffin, who worked on Bush''s 2004 campaign, is managing Palin''s "communications" effort in Alaska

Mavericks my a*s. McCain and Palin are simply 4 more years of devastating Bush policies.

You betcha Sarah!. You keep "boosting" those down-ballot Democrats by showing your pretty face and empty rhetoric everywhere you can.

Keep reminding Americans that Republicans put WINNING FIRST and RESPONSIBILITY TO THE COUNTRY SECOND. They sure showed they don''t care what airhead is V.P. and could be President, so long as it is one of them.

You BETCHA!

smilnjackw31....You don''t read much do you? Do you really believe that the energy crisis has only existed for two years? And even if your wildest dreams come true please tell me how Palin could reign for 12 years. And what the he11 is a "deballsicle?" That term is not familiar to me and quite frankly I don''t think I want it to be. Sounds kind of scary. Is it related in any way to a "Bobbit?"

Vote for Senator John McCain and Governor Sarah Palin if you worried about having gas available to put in your gas tank. Atlanta and Nashville voters know that Democratic hot air will not fill your gas tank.

Why should Barack Obama insist that the removing the offshore ban should be part of a comprehensive energy ban? Why should it be a bargaining chip. Lifting the offshore oil drilling ban is the right and appropriate thing to do and should not have been used as a Democratic leadership fillibuster or extorsion tool to extract concessions on other issues. The current gas lines and closed gas stations with no gas in the Southeast including Georgia, Tennessee, and North Carolina are just a prelude of what we can expect under Barack Obama and Joe Biden energy policies of limited offshore exploration and no new refineries.

It would be NICE for John McCain to tell all of America the REAL--STRAIGHT TRUTH ABOUT BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA.

I don''t believe the America really knows who Barack Hussein Obama is.

PLEASE don''t allow OBAMA to put the focus on other issues....Obama does not walk on water.....and America needs to know the real Obama.

TIME for John McCain and Sarah Palin to "REFORM the Corrupt Washington Government!"

GO----JOHN MCCAIN!!!!
GO----SARAH PALIN!!!!

Yo smilnjackw31, and just what do you think *** Cheney has done in just his 8 years of office? And just how much so you think he has stolen through non-bid contracts with Haliburton in Iraq? Dude, check your batteries in your calculator as the elitist GOP Politicians are ripping off more from Americans than the CEOs of Fannie and Freddie have since their inception. Think $36.00 per person for a breakfast to our infantry in Iraq is justifiable? Apparently this administration does! So thank you Joe Biden and Barak Obama for taking on the lying GOP fascists, posing to love America while ripping us off and killing our young men for the sake of their fantasies and grandeur.

Do the actions of Bush-McCain-Palin show that they really believe in the right to life?

Do you know that more children than soldiers have been - and continue to be - killed, seriously wounded, malnourished, and struck by illness as a result the Iraq war?

%u201CDespite any efforts put into the surge, the first six months of 2007 was still the most deadly first six months for civilians of any year since the invasion.%u201D
http://www.iraqbodycount.org/analysis/numbers/baghdad-surge/

And we still don%u2019t have an accurate tally of the ongoing death and destruction.

In any case, the continued assertions of surge success is likely to be little comfort to the thousands of already dead, diseased, and disfigured children and there families, victims of the neocon holy war.

While Palin smirks and winks, while McCain beats his war drums, while Bush bumbles on, here are some additional important questions to consider:

How many more children are those who promote the war willing to kill and maim to perpetuate the neocon holy war in an effort to achieve a so-called %u201Cvictory%u201D on terms they cannot even define?

How many and whose children are you willing to sacrifice through direct support of this war, or through apathy and inaction?

Do children in Iraq and elsewhere have a right to life?

Do the efforts of Palin-McCain-Bush to continue to wage war in Iraq really prove that they truly value a right to life?
