Wright, Ayers Make Appearance In Conservative Group’s New Ad

CBS News’ chief political consultant Marc Ambinder reports that a group called the Judicial Confirmation Network will spend over $1 million on a TV and print advertising campaign in a smaller markets in the key swing states of Ohio, Michigan and Pennsylvania featuring some controversial figures Barack Obama has been associated with. Here’s the text of the television ad, narrated by the Judicial Confirmation Network’s Wendy Long:
Wendy: “With the help of hundreds of thousands of Americans, the Judicial Confirmation Network fought for the nominations of Supreme Court Justices John Roberts and Sam Alito. The next President may nominate 4 new Justices. So we'd like you to see this.”

Voice Over: “Choosing the right Justices is critical for America. We don't know who Barack Obama would choose, but we know this: He chose as one of his first financial backers a slumlord now convicted on 16 counts of corruption. Obama chose as an associate a man who helped to bomb the Pentagon and said he "didn't do enough." And Obama chose as his pastor a man who has blamed America for the 9/11 attacks. Obama chose to associate with these men, while voting against these men.”

Wendy: “Please join the Judicial Confirmation Network. We need a Supreme Court that respects the Constitution and Justices who won't legislate from the bench. Judicial Confirmation Network paid for this message and is responsible for it.”

John McCain''s buddies, George W.Bush and the RNC have done more damage to America than anybody that has the Remotest connection to Obama.

The overt fact is that US Senator John Sydney McCain is very much deeply involved with a group of monetary driven, un-ethical, immoral, corrupt, and just plain greedy. McCain has openly acknowledged his association and participation with this group.

In fact this group of corrupt robber barons has selected and fully endorses John McCain as their Candidate for the President of the United States of America.

The REPUBLICAN NATIONAL COMMITTEE!

Do the Republicans really want to go down this road again? Limbaugh and Hannity brings this *** up everyday. Keating 5 would of been 4 without McCain.

Let get back to leadership and stop all this BS.

John McCains radically absurd poor judgment in choosing Lyin Palin for VP is all Americans need to know about the Republicon candidates. PATHETIC! Obama now taking a commanding lead in Virginia, North Carolina, and Florida, all based upon McCains exhibited poor judgment!

are you serious? mccain was in bed with the keating five. come on america. are we going to accept guilt by association for relationships that are ancient history? is that going to fix your 401k? mccain is deperately trying to salvage a failed campaign led by a maverick that is so visceral, he named sarah palin as veep to spite his party. let''s be smart this election and do what is right for the country.

If this is as hard hitting as conservatives and the McCain campaign are going to get . . . they will lose the election. There are a ton of factual attacking points against both Obama and Biden that they should have in their arsenal but instead, for some reason, they''ve chosen to go with controversial attacks that lack integrity. This ad barely touches the surface when it comes to Obama''s record on judgement. Wimpy and pathetic. Obama thus far has been much more effective in getting the country to question McCain''s judgement.

"Here- look at the shiny toy kiddies."

"Ignore the economy. Ignore the years of Republican mismanagement. Ignore McCain''s temperament and explosive anger. Ignore McCain''s shoot from the hip judgment. We are going to distract you with something shiny and flashy."
