Ansar Al Islam Release “Earth Rain” Video
The Iraqi insurgent group Ansar al Islam produced a new documentary-style video about the group’s activities in response to operation Piercing Arrow. The one hour 22 minute video, which was obtained by CBS News, shows a TV crew interviewing group fighters in Diyala. They talked about their counter attacks on U.S. and Iraqi forces during the security operation that took place in June 2007. The video also included a number of clips sampling some of the attacks carried out by the group.
