Bon Jovi to Host Fundraiser for Obama

(CBS)
From CBS News' Maria Gavrilovic:

(HARRISBURG, Pa) Barack Obama raised $10 million dollars yesterday – a one day record for the campaign –but there’s no such thing as too much money in politics. Tonight, Obama heads to New Jersey for a brief but rather lucrative evening at the home of rocker, Jon Bon Jovi. The event, dubbed as a dinner with Obama, will cost supporters $30,800 per person.

Bon Jovi campaigned extensively for John Kerry in 2004, and has a long history of campaigning for the Democratic Party.

The Repugs have nothing to run on. Not once this week did they talk about issues. They seem to talk about Senator Obama more than anything.

they must be scared.......

I do... My wife''s job offers no healthcare, and it''s way too expensive for her to be included on mine. She broke her arm recently, and we are really struggling to pay the bills in this bad economy. The Republicans don''t seem to have a real solution about the healthcare crisis in America. Barack Obama, Hillary, and the Democrats have made it a central theme, and I believe they will change it for the better. Any attempt to bring money in to help elect Obama is good for people in our situation.. Thanks Bon Jovi, and may God bless you and the event!
