McCain Ad: Palin’s Reform Credentials Exceed Obama’s

The McCain campaign has released a new ad titled “Alaska Maverick” that favorably compares Sarah Palin’s reform credentials to Barack Obama’s.

“The Journal says: ‘Governor Palin's credentials as an agent of reform exceed Barack Obama's,’” an announcer says in the spot. “They're right. She ‘has a record of bi-partisan reform.’ He's the Senate's ‘most liberal. She ‘took on the oil producers.’ He gave big oil billions in subsidies and giveaways. She's ‘earned a reputation as a reformer.’ His reputation? Empty words.”

The McCain campaign did not provide information on how often the spot will run or specifics on where it will air, saying only that it will appear "in key states."

To compare Palin to Obama in the same breath is to insult Obama''s accomplishments and the intelligence of the voter. Who is Palin?? We are just learning like McCain is. She is a creationist, anti-environment, denier of global warming, pro-gun, hard core evangelical who fired a city librarian for resisting censorship. She is a double-talker who fought for huge earmarks for her tiny town. She appointed a man convicted of sexual harassment to be in charge of Public Security. She is a hypocrite who attacked Hillary as a whiner and now wants to ride Clinton''s coat tails. She has no serious education and these attempts to give a strident abuser of political power (Troopergate) credibility through The Big Lie will backfire and sink McCain. His judgment is on the line and he failed the test.

Reform to a Republican is stealing from Peter to give the money to Paul.
That%u2019s their reform. What is the McCain Campaign actually doing?
Are they for everything (they voted and supported) that the Bush Administration has done to America?, or are they against it?

???

McCain and his nurse Sarah Palin are running an ambiguous campaign, are they another George Bush Republicans, or are they the %u201CMavericks%u201D they are pseudo campaigning on?

America needs to vote out Republican Corruption, that%u2019s the end of the story, nothing further needs to be given any thought.

Whine all you want...it doesn''t change the fact that Obama hasn''t got a record to stand on. Unless you count funneling 14 million to Rezko a convicted felon or a million to his wife''s employer after they doubled her salary.

Obama comes from the most corrupt city in the country, so corrupt that the feds have had to step in.

He has a very clear record of funneling money to his campaign contributors.

All one has to do is research it. He counts on his supporters to be so mesmerized they won''t bother checking.

Good reason from Republicons:
Palin has double foreign experience comparing to Bush because Alaska is next Canada and Russia and Texas is next only to Mexico.
If Bush can be a president than Palin must be a much better veep.

The McCain ad contrasting Palin with Obama is standard politics with an interesting twist - the ad artificially makes Obama''s skin color much darker than it appears in all media coverage, where its hue is what would be expected for someone with his racial background.

The explicit message is "Vote for Palin and McCain because of their qualifications."

The subliminal message is, "He''s black. You don''t want one of them in the White House, do you?"

Palin Pork: Mayor Palin brought $27 million of pork to tiny Wasilla, Alaska. She was in favor of the "bridge to nowhere" before she flip-flopped. She''s in the pocket of big oil (rather than changing to alternative fuels). She''s a fake.

fmoolten, interesting point. I saw Sen. Obama in person at a rally, about 40 feet away from him, and he is light-skinned.

The thought and voting police are out in full force trying to tell women who to vote for. Effectively trying to control the women right of individual assessment and control of their individual vote thru lies and distortion projected thru a bias media and internet blogs.

Palin is extremely successful, strong; a determined woman who has the potential to become 1st seed material for future political office like heading ticket in future against Clinton. They are scared and they now the impact of letting an alternate vision of leadership of moral clarity and reflection for women. They are scared to hell of religious, community serving, moral and successful women who raise children and attend church and are soccer/hockey mom types rallying against the self-centered, elitist, moral deficient types that say they are the current leaders of the women movement.

Palin has 13 years of elected office, given birth five times, loved her country as much as her husband, fought corruption in her own party, dealt with relations with two countries that are direct neighbors of her state. She smashed the big oil good old boy system with her straight talk approach in leadership in Alaska. She risked death to fight corrupt men in the Alaska government whom were so corrupt they could have eliminated the threat using evil force.

She is a hero and a joy to all women''''s hopes and as a Christian Man I love her and trust her as my vice-president or president in my future.

Go Palin

Back in 2001 McCain hammered Palin for her Wasilla pork spending.

When is McCain going to follow his own words?

Thank you McCain for making this thing interesting. You could have gone with boring Pawlenty or Romney. And it would be the same scripted election as the others...new, exciting, change on the left and consistent, boring, sameness on the right. But this is a gamechanger. Wait, the republicans are young, attractive, and extremists?

McCain picks a little known Gov. as VP, yet she still has more experience for the job than Obama. Can we just put McCain and Biden on the same ticket?

obamas surrogates are reeling.

after the RNC we''ll watch his #''s sink down below 40% as America learns about obamas smear tactics like they did on Hill-arious Clinton.

America is learning about you obama and on november 5th we''ll rise and welcome a new Commander in Chief: John McCain.

i wonder if he knows about the 12 steps of AA!!!!!

when he gets honest with himself and looks back over his past he''''ll see all those mistakes and make amends properly, but how can he when all those babies are dead from his legislation, so the catch22 continues and he remains a drunk.

Compare the two ads: Obama''s is straight-forward and true--McCain would outlaw abortion given the chance. McCain''s ad uses opinion, distortion and outright lies to try to smear Obama as less than he is. The character of the campaigns reflects the character of the candidates.

When The Democrats win this year%u2019s elections, Republicans like bswalker1 will not have to move all the way to France to get away from the US, they will be able to move Alaska!

Why doesn''t Palin hold her own baby? It appears one of the girls is always holding the baby. She can''t even run her own house hold less the country.

curious2008,
Don''t be absurd. Of course she did no such thing. However, I did hear that she gave birth to one of her children on a fast moving dog sled while cracking away at a caribou with a high powered rifle. Bet Obama can%u2019t do that. Don%u2019t forget to vote.

McSame is going to wish he vetted her.

In a February interview with MTV, Alaska Governor Sarah Palin lavished praise on maverick Republican presidential contender Ron Paul.

She had a few nice things to say about another GOP candidate, Mitt Romney. But Palin made no mention of John McCain.

By the way she showed better judgement than McCain did supporting her. Ron Paul is 10 times the man McShame ever will be.

Does anybody still watch MTV? I guess Obama doesn''t play the saxophone. Being able to adjust for windage and elevation might be better qualifications than being a sax man anyway.

I see you''re a fellow veteran; don''t forget to vote, brother.

An Agent of Reform is what Sarah Palin represents!

For example, when in the White House, she will be the Voice of God. God wants us to be in Iraq. God wants us to drill. Her church, Assemblies of God Church believes in mixing Church and State and believes that the President is a representative (the voice) of God, they want to overturn Democracy and replace it with a Theocacy.

Of course, this means Their God, not Your God.
Sara Palin says God wants the Iraq war, and God wants to drill, baby drill.

Is this the Change you are envisioning? If so, Vote McInsane
