Obama Watches Clinton Speech at a House Party

(CBS)
From CBS News' Maria Gavrilovic:

(BILLINGS, MONT.) - Barack Obama tried to dispel rumors of a rift between himself and the Clintons by watching Hillary Clinton’s speech tonight with a local family as television cameras and reporters looked on. The campaign said they had organized a “surprise” visit at the home of a local field organizer, who was hosting a convention watch party.

Sitting on the edge of a sofa, Obama watched Clinton’s speech intently, often clapping and yelling out “yeah!” He appeared to like many of Clinton’s lines, especially “no way, no how, now McCain” and Clinton’s reference to her “sisterhood of the traveling pantsuits.”

After the speech, Obama proclaimed “That was excellent! That was a strong speech…I thought she was outstanding.”

Just moments after leaving the house party, Obama called both Hillary and Bill Clinton. Campaign aides said Obama told her how grateful he is for her support and congratulated her on her speech. He told Bill Clinton that he knew he must have been proud of his wife watching her tonight – as proud as he was watching Michelle.

As a woman who started out behind Hillary, I now intend to vote for Obama, I was very proud of Hillary Clinton!

By-the-way, the media has made such a big deal out of Hillary voters hurting Obama! Why hasn''t the media discussed how the Libertarian Party, and Ron Paul Third Party votes will have a direct impact on McCain in southern and western states? The Libertarian Party has something like 55,000,000 members, and Ron Paul will certainly win his fair number of votes!

Interesting...so, what is the media trying to keep this information under lock-and-key?
