Obama Back in the U.S., Back on the Trail
From CBS News' Allison O'Keefe:
(CHICAGO) - Less than 24 hours after his return from his whirlwind, 10-day overseas trip, Barack Obama will speak to the UNITY ’08 convention of minority journalists this morning.
This will be Obama’s first U.S. campaign appearance following his trip to European, the Middle East, Afghanistan and Iraq.
The convention will consist of a panel of journalists moderated by CNN’s Suzanne Malveuax and Romesh Ratnesar, world editor of TIME magazine. The panel includes NBC’s John Yang, Leonard Pitts of the Miami Herald, Dianne Solis of the Dallas Morning News, and Brian Bull of Wisconsin Public Radio.
Following the conference, Obama will spend some time with his family before kicking off a full week of campaigning tomorrow.

During a two-minute break halfway through the event, which was broadcast live on CNN, journalists ran to the stage to snap photos of Obama."
