The Rest Of The Story

West Virginia’s Democratic primary and the Mississippi special congressional election got all the attention yesterday – and for good reasons. Hillary Clinton, declared finished by just about everyone in the political and media world, won a primary race against presumed nominee Barack Obama by 40 – yes 40 – points. In Mississippi, Republicans got another sign of the coming electoral apocalypse when they lost a House seat in a district where President Bush won 62 percent of the vote in 2004.

But Nebraska also held a primary yesterday with Obama and Clinton on the ballot. It was just a beauty contest since all the state’s delegates were awarded in caucuses on February 9th, but the results are interesting nonetheless. Driven by a competitive U.S. Senate primary, nearly 90,000 Nebraska Democrats cast a vote for one of the two candidates and Obama edged out Clinton by just over 2,000 votes, taking 49 percent of the vote while Clinton claimed 47 percent.

Obama won a big victory in February’s caucuses, getting 68 percent of the vote and capturing 16 of the 24 delegates up for grabs. There’s no way to tell whether Clinton would have done as well as she did in the meaningless beauty contest yesterday given that neither campaign was paying any attention to it. But it is a good reminder of why the Clinton campaign has long preferred primaries over caucuses. And, it’s an indication that while everyone else may have written Clinton off, voters aren’t. "People haven't written her off," said Judy Monaghan, who ran Clinton’s efforts in the state. "This is going to energize her supporters. I think there's still an opening. It's a narrow window, but it's an opening."

Obama only talks about his Mothers side of the family and their Patriotism.

Now tell us about your Fathers side of the family.

Obama has at least 7 siblings that we know of. None of them live in the United States.

4. West Virginia also Ranks near the Bottom Nationally in Median Household Income.

Hillary`s Toast !!!

1. Delegate Math Favors Obama

2. But increasingly, the superdelegates are moving into the Obama camp. (He gained 30 in just the past week), negating any advantage Clinton might have had from the (16) or more pledged delegates she won in West Virginia.

3. So while the drubbing in West Virginia may be embarrassing for Obama, he still leads Clinton by any tangible measurement: pledged delegates, superdelegates and the popular vote, and there just arent enough contests left for her to catch up.

4. Big Note, And while Obama is setting new fundraising records, Clinton`s campaign debt is estimated to be more than $20 million and rising.

5. In a conference call Tuesday, Roy Romer, a superdelegate and former chair of the Democratic Party, announced his support for Obama, saying, "This race, I believe, is over." Its up to Clinton, he said, to decide when to drop out.

West Virginia has a lot less than 1% of the US population. (less than Chicago actually) Any win there is not a "big" win

I have explored the great Caucus caper at length on my blog.

http://www.alessandromachi.blogspot.com/

Or, an actual delegate breakdown showing that at least 142 delegates have been stolen from Hillary Clinton, without counting Florida and Michigan.

http://alessandromachi.blogspot.com/2008/05/hillary-please-dont-quit-dont-let.html

There are a lot of articles with information about the caucus states and their suspect delegate vote allocations that have been supressed by the progressive/aggressive media.

I BLAME OBAMA WHITE MOTHER AND WHITE GRANDPARENTS, ITS THEIR FAULT.

1. His WHITE MOTHER taught him he could be anything he wants %u2013 despite the reality that America is racist to the core %u2013 how dare they do that to him.
2. How dare his WHITE MOTHER love a black man and have a child with him at a time when the rest of white America hated blacks %u2013 how dare they do that to our (UNITED) STATES OF AMERICA.
3. How dare his WHITE grandparents love him and teach him good values. What type of WHITE grandparents would do such a thing?
4. Why would his WHITE MOTHER allow this mixed child to even think he could one day be a lawyer or a doctor or a President? They should have raised him to be a thug, a criminal, a drug addict not a good person %u2013 Dayum them.
5. His WHITE MOTHER worked on her doctorate degree instead of staying on welfare,. dayum this WHITE WOMEN.
6. His WHITE MOTHER gave him a life experience by traveling the world, why would any WHITE WOMEN care about their son that way? What is wrong with WHITE WOMEN?
7. His WHITE MOTHER left him at an early at dying from cancer, and he promised her he would make her proud. Why would a man love his mom that much?
8. His WHITE grandparents taught him values, loved him, yes he made some mistake but their values held out. Why would two WHITE grandparents love a black child so much %u2013 how dare them love a black child%u2026...who the hell, do they think they are?
