Rev. Wright’s Tour Begins

Rev. Jeremiah Wright, longtime friend of and pastor to Barack Obama and his wife, Michelle, is getting back into the news, this time on his own terms and initiative. As Chicago Sun-Times’ Lynnn Sweet points out, Wright is going very public in the wake of controversies stirred by taped remarks of some of his sermons, which included often replayed statements like “God damn America.”

First up is an interview with Bill Moyers of PBS, which will air Friday evening. Next comes a turn at the National Press Club in Washington, DC on Monday. According the The Caucus blog at the New York Times, Wright tells Moyers he feels the controversies are unfair. “I felt it was unjust. I felt it was untrue. I felt for those who were doing that, were doing it for some very devious reasons.”

Wright says the political reasons for the flap are clear. “I think they wanted to communicate that I am unpatriotic, that I am un-American, that I am filled with hate speech, that I have a cult at Trinity United Church of Christ. And by the way, guess who goes to his church, hint, hint, hint? That’s what they wanted to communicate.” And, in a seemingly back-handed compliment, he says Obama has dealt with the issue the only way he can. “He says what he has to say as a politician. I say what I have to say as a pastor. But they’re two different worlds. … I do what I do. He does what politicians do.” Stay tuned for more from Wright’s interview.

Yes, we know Rev Wright/Wrong is not running for President. But his Protege (B Obama) is. Obama has repeatedly praised this man, calling him his mentor & advisor. Gee, I could definitely think of a better role model. Now, if HRC or McCain were to name the head of the KKK as their Mentor or advisor, you can be SURE that they would be condemned forever (as it should be). So why shouldn''t Wright/Obama get the same treatment? After all, it is definitely Racism against white''s, hispanics, Asians, etc....

Thanks to "uncle" jeremiah, the true nature of hussein has finally been revealed. For nearly twenty years hussein has been the disciple and avid follower and supporter of this racial bigot. hussein has publicly praised wright on numerous occasions. wright''s vile, bigoted harangues against America, in general, and white Americans, in particular, illustrate the true foundation of hussein and the "church" of which he is a devout member. The foundation of hussein is racial division and strife - not unity. If it were not for the thin veneer of whitewash slapped on him by his handlers, I would expect him to adopt wright''s "God Da''mn America" as his theme song. hussein is clearly an outrageously unacceptable candidate for any elected office or position of responsibility in America.

Fortunately the rest of the world and country is much more enlightened than the previous posters here ( and their pied pipers in the media ). I look forward to the statements and clarification by Reverend Wright.
Barack Obama will overcome the ignorance and innuendo to become our President in 2008. These non-issues being raised are simply weak and transparent attempts to discredit a fine man and capable leader.

If Obama plans to win the nomination he needs to send Rev. Wright to a tropical island and tie him to a tree until the election is over. Every time this guy emerges in the press it''s a disaster for Obama. BUT it''s Obama''s fault that Wright is such a big issue. 20 Years, Book Titles, married, baptised, blessed. No way he can disassociate with the wave of his hand the way he wishes. He should have thought about this a long time ago. Now he and Wright are forever one. Bye Bye Obama. The Tide Has Turned and You have been "EXPOSED." Can''t blame Hillary for this one O.

James William Fulbright: Bill Clinton''s Anti Afro American & Anti Semitic ..Mentor

Note: Yet you Media People have let Bill & Hillary Clinton go under the Radar...Thats not Fair, Eqitable nor Honorable...Spread this News...Evenly and Equally, as Youve done the Rev. Wright Stories

For Most of his Life and Public service, Fulbright was a supporter of Racial Segregation.

1. He signed The Southern Manifesto opposing the Supreme Court''s historic 1954 Brown v. Board of Education decision.

2. He subsequently joined with the (Dixiecrats) in filibustering the Civil Rights Act of 1957 and the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as well as voting against the 1965 Voting Rights Act.

3. In 1963 testimony to the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, Fulbright claimed that five million tax-deductible dollars from philanthropic Americans had been sent to Israel and then recycled back to the US for distribution to organizations seeking to influence public opinion in favor of Israel.

Note: This statement led to friction with the organized Jewish Community in the U.S.

4. The same e year Anti-Defamation League, the leading Jewish defense organization, claimed that Fulbright was "Consistently Unkind to Israel and our supporters in this country".

5. Bill Clinton: On October 21, 2002, in a speech at the dedication of the Fulbright Sculpture at the University of Arkansas, Bill Clinton said, "I Admired him. I Lked him.

Why is''nt News Week discussing Bill Clintons Anti- African American & Anti- Semite Mentor...Mr. James William Fulbright, why Fulbright makes Rev. Wright look like a Saint !!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_William_Fulbright

The following excerpt from my December 10, 2002, "Selective Moral Outrage" piece is probably what Mr. Beinart finds "dumb."

[B]ack on May 5, 1993, in what the Washington Post characterized as a ". . . moving 88th birthday ceremony for former senator William Fulbright, President Clinton last night bestowed the Presidential Medal of Freedom on the man he described as a visionary humanitarian, a steadfast supporter of the values of education, and ''my mentor.''" Clinton added, "It doesn''t take long to live a life. He made the best of his, and helped us to have a better chance to make the best of ours. . . . The American political system produced this remarkable man, and my state did, and I''m real proud of it."

Even if we ignore completely what Clinton said, how do you ignore what he did?

He gave the nation''s highest civilian award %u2014 the Presidential Medal of Freedom %u2014 to a man who spent the vast majority of his public career and life as a proud segregationist.

Clintons statements were far more damning than Obamas !!

Source: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/04/13/bill-clinton-flashback-al_n_96433.html

As the rumination continues over Barack Obama''s comments about economically-depressed small town voters, statements made by Bill Clinton on the same topic -- uttered while he was running for president in 1991 -- have now surfaced.

Bill Clinton: "The reason (George H. W. Bush''s tactic) works so well now is that... (You have All these Eonomically Insecure White People) who are Sared to Death," ...

Clinton was quoted saying by the Los Angeles Times in September 1991.

A couple months later, Joe Klein, writing for the Sunday Times, reported that Clinton made the following remarks:

"You know, he [Bush] wants to divide us Over Race. I''m from the South.

I understand this. This quota deal they''re gonna pull in the next election is the same old scam they''ve been pulling on us for decade after decade after decade. When their economic policies fail, when the country''s coming apart rather than coming together, what do they do?

Clinton''s: Arab Connections Why Aren''t People Talking About It ?

I do however, believe that they are Opportunists who will do Anything for a Buck, to enhance their image or to get elected. And it is this do anything for power that scares me more than anything

It is people like that who get this Country In Trouble as they Change their Perspective to maintain their position--dead center, where ever that may be.But he didn''t and neither does Hilary.

Take a look at the fact that Both Bill and Hillary make tons of bucks from their extensive involvement with Dubai.

Why is that bad?

United Arab Emirates (Dubai) is a Major commerce and shipping point for the "business-side" of Terrorism.

Bill and Hilary are major friends of Dubai, to the point where the Clinton Foundation have established (Dubai Study departments) in Universities in the US and London. They worked hard at granting legitimacy to this Jew-hating, terrorist supporting nation."

Clinton isn''t alone in legitimizing Dubai.

Other FOBs including disgraced former National Security Adviser Sandy Berger, E-Secretary of State Madeline Albright and Al and Tipper Gore -

No one is as involved as to the extent of the Clintons

According to San Francisco Examiner columnist P.J. Corkery, Clinton makes $10 million a year from Yucaipa a Dubai firm.

A pertinate quote from the chief justice.
Scalia also denies there is anything personal in his decisions or comments, which can often be biting. Stahl asks how he can be a close friend of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg, his liberal bench mate, despite the fact that they oftentimes disagree. "I attack ideas, I don%u2019t attack people, and some very good people have some very bad ideas," he tells Stahl. "And if you can%u2019t separate the two, you got to get another day job. You don%u2019t want to be a judge, at least not a judge on a multi-member panel."

I think a terrible injustice has been done to a decent and good man. He''s a former U.S. Marine who served his country honorably and has dedicated his life to helping others. We have demonized him and laughed at him based only on a spliced-together tape without context. This was not fair, and I am ashamed of us all for doing that.

Some of Reverend Wright''s sermons are on You-Tube, including the one with the clip about "chickens coming home to roost." That particular sermon was very good; his comments about the chickens were even a quote!!

I do not think anyone should criticize Reverend Wright until you see the context in which his statements were taken, and maybe listen to some of his sermons. He is a good man. He is not running for anything. Just be fair to him. It is the Christian thing to do.

This is not about the "Christian" thing to do, this is solely about Obama''s enemies trying to paint Obama''s pastor as some kind of hate-speech mongering Anti-American thug so they can attack Obama for being associated with him. This is not about Wright, this is about smearing Obama and nothing else.

If it weren''t Wright''s quotes would be taken in context not manipulated to create false meanings and ideas. This is about the Clinton/Republican attack machine intentionally misleading the public for their own ends. They don''t have any real issue to defend or use so they resort to the simplest method of debate...character assassination. If you can''t beat them, lie about them.

In his 1993 memoir %u201CDreams from My Father,%u201D Obama recounts in vivid detail his

In her senior thesis at Princeton, Michele Obama, the wife of Barack Obama
stated that America was a nation founded on "crime and hatred". Moreover, she
stated that whites in America were "ineradicably racist". The 1985 thesis,
titled "Princeton-Educated Blacks and the Black Community" was written under her
maiden name, Michelle LaVaughn Robinson.

Michelle Obama stated in her thesis that to "Whites at Princeton , it often
seems as if, to them, she will always be Black first..." However, it was
reported by a fellow black classmate, "If those "Whites at Princeton " really
saw Michelle as one who always would "be Black first," it seems that she gave
them that impression".

Most alarming is Michele Obama''s use of the terms "separationist" and
"integrationist" when describing the views of black people.

Mrs. Obama clearly identifies herself with a "separationist" view of race.

"There was no doubt in my mind that as a member of the black community, I am
obligated to this community and will utilize all of my present and future
resources to benefit the black community first and foremost. "

What is Michelle Obama planning to do with her future resources if she''s first
lady that will elevate black over white in America ?

The following passage appears to be a call to arms for affirmative action
policies that could be the hallmark of an Obama administration.

Why is''nt CBS News discussing Bill Clintons Anti- African American & Anti- Semite Mentor...

The following excerpt from my December 10, 2002, "Selective Moral Outrage"

[B]ack on May 5, 1993, in what the Washington Post characterized as a ". . . moving 88th birthday ceremony for former senator William Fulbright, President Clinton last night bestowed the Presidential Medal of Freedom on the man he described as a Visionary Humanitarian, a steadfast Supporter of the Values of Education, and My Mentor." Clinton added...

The American Political System Produced this Remarkable Man, and My state did, and I''m Real Proud Of It."

Even if we ignore completely what Clinton said, how do you ignore what he did?

Note: He gave the nations highest civilian award, the Presidential Medal of Freedom to a man who spent the Vast Majority of his Public Career and Life as a Proud Segregationist.

Why must Huffington, LIE for the Clintons ?

Why is''nt CBS News Discussing Bill Clintons (1991) statements about Rural People.

Clintons statements were far more damning than Obamas !!

Source: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/04/13

/bill-clinton-flashback-al_n_96433.htmln
As the rumination continues over Barack Obamas comments about economically-depressed small town voters, statements made by Bill Clinton on the same topic -- uttered while he was running for president in 1991 -- have now surfaced.

Bill Clinton: "The reason (George H. W. Bushs tactic) works so well now is that...

Im from the South.

I understand this. This quota deal theyre gonna pull in the next election is the same old scam theyve been pulling on us for decade after decade after decade. When their economic policies fail, when the countrys coming apart rather than coming together, what do they do?

Bill Clinton: : They find the (Most Economically Insecure White Men) and Scare the Living Daylights out of them !!

Had that been obama, the Entire Galaxy would be Reading it and Condemning him !!

Obama chose to belong to a racist anti-American church for 20 years. He married a militant white hating, black woman who wrote in her Princeton thesis "I will utilize all of my present and future resources to benefit the black communitty first and foremost". This is who Obama chose. Do you think he will be for all Americans or just the black ones? At this moment he needs the white vote so he''s careful to appear non racist. If he''s elected I bet that changes real fast. Is this the kind of President we want?
