New Obama Ad: "People Are Rejecting Hillary Clinton's Attacks"
Barack Obama's campaign has released a new ad attacking Hillary Clinton for...attacking Barack Obama.
The 30-second spot, "Represent," opens with Clinton saying "I know that many of you, like me… were disappointed by recent remarks that he made." This is, of course, a reference to Obama's "bitter" comments, which Clinton's campaign ran its own an ad assailing. Onscreen, the words "Hillary Clinton attacks Barack Obama" appear, and one can hear jeers following Clinton's statement.
"There's a reason people are rejecting Hillary Clinton's attacks," an announcer says. "Because the same old Washington politics won't lower the price of gas, or help our struggling economy. Barack Obama will represent all Americans. He offers a new approach."
The ad then cuts to Obama giving a speech.
"When we get past the politics of division and distraction and we start actually focusing on what we have in common, there's nothing we can't accomplish," he says.
