In N.C., Clinton to Talk About Economy

(CBS)
From CBS News' Fernando Suarez:

WASHINGTON -- Just one day after Barack Obama delivered a speech on the economy in North Carolina, Senator Hillary Clinton makes her first visit to that state with the same focus. According to the Clinton campaign, she will make several stops today with the economy as the main focus in what is being billed as the "Solutions for the American Economy Tour."

Part of Clinton’s economic focus will be on creating jobs and eliminating tax credits for companies who move jobs overseas. Campaign spokesman Mo Elleithee says Clinton will focus on "job training and re-training" and will unveil a $2 billion job training and re-training program for displaced workers to upgrade their skills.

Elleithee says Clinton will push the point that she offers "solutions for the economy" and that America needs a leader who will "roll up their sleeves to get the job done."

But on the back burner, remains the question over whom, if anyone, will former presidential candidate and Sen. John Edwards, D-N.C., endorse before the May 6th primary. Campaign sources seem to think Edwards is torn between supporting Clinton, who he agrees with on health care, and Obama, who has increasing support in the Democratic party and is perceived to have fewer ties to special interest groups.

It remains unclear if an Edwards endorsement would make a difference in the minds of voters, but as one campaign source mentioned, they would rather “have endorsements than not.” The source was also quick to point out that Sen. Ted Kennedy’s, D-Mass., endorsement of Obama did not help him win that state on Super Tuesday.

If H. Clinton and Obama cared about preparing US workers to be competitive, they''d work to improve US high schools (which routinely graduate illiterates) by supporting school vouchers, an idea even supported by a majority of the members of their own party. Why don''t they? Because they''re beholden to the teacher''s unions. So instead, they want to raise taxes on businesses (by eliminating existing tax credits) to fund big government programs to train workers, increasing the cost of doing business in the US relative to overseas locations. It''s interesting that Clinton''s own talking points show the absurdity here--she laments jobs going overseas despite the lame efforts of the government to "train" workers. The rate of jobs going overseas actually increased during her husband''s presidency, despite all the funds she says he spent on training. It''s obvious to any sane, honest person (i.e., not someone trying to snow the average Joe) that jobs aren''t going to China and Vietman because workers there are better trained; it''s because the cost of doing business there is so much lower. Obviously. So she''s going to fix the problem by further increasing the cost of doing business in the US? Great. With that kind of logic, no wonder she''s pursuing a career in the public sector.

I have just one question. Where are Clinton''s solutions for the works in Buffalo? Didn''t she promise them 200,000 new jobs as senator? Instead, they lost 40,000 jobs. Her answer: She thought Al Gore was going to be president and help her push her jobs initiative. Another lie, perhaps? After all, Al Gore didn''t promise New York anything, she did. She can put forth all of the solutions she wants, people are crazy if they believe anything she says. After she''s elected, she will do whatever she wants to do and blame it on someone or something else. Or even better, she''ll just say she "misspoke". I think that''s called a lie.

ONCE AGAIN....Obama may find himself in hot water--not for something he did, but for who he knows. Those Rezko indictments are sure to heat up and spill over and cause damage!!

Unfortunately for Hillary--she can''''''''t catch a break, soon to potentially break in the news is the story before the California appeals court which could DeLay her candidacy for good. this time evidence shows that Hillary (HERSELF ONCE AGAIN)was involved. At issue is a 250K donation made to her senatorial campaign. Her staff said she had no knowledge of it, so she was not roped into the scandal when her campaign mgr faced charges of hiding that money from the IRS.

Unfortunately VIDEO may again place Hill in deep doo, doo. It seems there is a video tape recording her discussing the fund raiser with the donors (on it, she talks about who would be there and what they will do) this means she performed what is known as a direct campaign request. donations from donors for that kind of request are limited to 25K. Since the donation was for 250K, that would be considered campaign fraud.

Woe is Hillary and Damnnnn those videos and tape recordings that make being a great liar so hard to keep up these days!!! ROTFLMAO.

Maybe Hill should quit, before she finds herself in court this time, with no way to hide her hand in shady dealings. Here''''''''s the Link: http://www.usjf.net/modules.php?op=modlo

Haven''t you seen the interview of college students where Hillary held her

initial campaign speeches and qa sessions?

Students told news reporters that Hillary''s campaign staff gave

pre-printed questions to ask Hillary during the q/a session, and the

unsuspecting students fell for it. I am not making this up.

Now Hillary "sniper-fire" Clinton might be trying to change the subject

from her Bosnia lies. She is trying to get the sympathy votes.

Hillary and her camp is trying to divert attention from her sniper-fire

Bosnian trip.

She is a liar.
No liars for president.
No crooks for president.
No more pity votes.
No more sympathy votes.
Release your tax return.

Let us see whom you paid to murder Vince Forster.

Why waste her time in North Carolina? After PA. votes next month North Carolina won''t matter. Hope she remembers to clean out her mop closet to find her apron, which will come handy after April 22nd. Don''t forget to turn the lights out lil'' missy when you close down your campaign.

In keeping with the finance theme, take a look at the FEC''s breakdown of the individual campaign finances and yourself, who is the best for the job.
