Huckabee Takes A Shot At Obama

PLANO, TEXAS -- Straight off the plane from Arkansas, Mike Huckabee went on a media blitz stressing his conservative credentials and also took a shot at Democrat Barack Obama.

When given the opportunity to distinguish himself from his opponents in the Democratic field, Huckabee offered some harsh words for Obama. Huckabee said Obama would "drop the guns and run away from Iraq," while he wouldn't. Huckabee said Obama would raise taxes and he wouldn't.

Asked about Michelle Obama's comment that this was the first time she was proud of America, Huckabee said he hoped it was just "a slip of the tongue" that would need further clarification. Huckabee said there were many reasons to be proud of the country.

"I just want to believe that's one of things that is said with fatigue," he said.

Meantime, a rather embarrassed reporter asked Huckabee to compare the voting process to American Idol.

Huckabee said, with a smile, that he frankly thought the presidential process might be better if it were "run like American Idol" because, at least that way, all the candidates would get equal time on stage.

"It couldn't be worse than the system we have now," Huckabee said, explaining that were it not for the support from people across America who kept voting for him, the establishment would have had him off the stage by now. He also criticized the frontloaded calendar for giving early states more influence than Texas, the second largest state in the country.

Micheal Bloomberg, NY city mayor is praising Mike Huckabee for President. Things are starting to turn, the establishment is starting to realize only Huckabee can go toe to toe against Obama in the ring.

McCain has a dry sense of humor, dull and boring. There is no way he can pull in enough votes in the general election especially if Obama is the nominee who has been very energetic.

This is what Micheal Bloomberg said about Mike Huckabee today:

"The same is true for Mike Huckabee, who has adopted a tougher stance against illegal immigrants, in an attempt to win over conservative voters. Bloomberg says the United States can learn from his own leadership."

You can go to the Huckabee website and then join into the MeetUp groups. The MeetUp groups can log in to a call site and support Huckabee by calling to Texas!

Mike should take more shots at Obama. Barack Obama is one of the most frightening presidential candidates that has ever taken the politcal stage here in America. He uses shallow rhetoric, does not look his audience in the eye and is promising everything to Americans but the kitchen sink. He has absolutely no foreign policy experience when we live in a very dangerous time and he is the guy who wants to cut and run from Iraq and has even proposed that we "bomb Pakistan". Obama is a maniacal fool who sounds very much like the evil man who mesmerized and sirred up so much hysteria in the masses that created Nazi Germany.

Look out America! If this man and his secret agenda assumes the oval office, we can kiss the "Last Great Hope" good-bye and we can thank all of those so-called college educated and young professionals who were taught false history. Don''t succumb to Barack Hussein Obama''s false hope and change. We won''t like the change, I guarantee it!

I 100% trust that Huckabee has got the United States'' best interests at heart. It is amazing, his character and integrity. While I don''t agree with him completely about his immigration issues, I know his eyes and heart are open to what is the best thing for our country.
God is protecting this country and has His hand on Huckabee. It is easy to see that.
I love Huckabee, and am backing him wiht my vote and my prayers!

And we also need to be very aware of Obama... The media is selling him to all of us... He is to inexperienced and there are red flags where he is concerned, with his faith and his loyalties.
Watch with wide eyes!

It''s refreshing to see that Hucakabee has the fairness and grace to note that Michelle''s comment may have been a slip of the tongue. I''m sure his compassion for misstatements, is because his own words have so often been exaggerated by the media and taken out of context. I remain a Huckabee supporter, and am pleased that he has the perseverence and tenacity to stay in the race and give all of the voters in all of the states an opportunity to have a voice in this election.

I don''t want to hear another peep from this guy.

I used to be a Huckabee fan, but the more I see of this hypocrite the more I don''t want to see of him.

Thanks though Huckabee, I guess, for making it so that McCain''s wins aren''t just default; by beating Huckabee there is still a hint of victory.

Not that I like McCain, but I can at least agree with him on a few issues, unlike the socialists of the other party.

And Huckabee, please stop whining about the election process because you don''t have more coverage. Sorry to break it to you, but you can''t win, and that''s why.

The good people of Ohio and Texans will vote for Huckabee. He mirrors their convictions on Pro-life, gun control, immigration and let''s not forget, he will get rid of the IRS.
Ohio/Kentucky/Indiana/ and Texas are strong conservative states. Yes, they beleive in GOD and yes they attend church too. They vote with their minds and hearts. They do not line up like robots and "coelesce" just because big politicians and the media tell them who to vote for.

McCain''s past is catching up to him this morning. I suspect that there is alot more to it than McCain just gave in the press conference. The press may have just given him enough rope to hang his nomination!

Mike Huckabee is the most experienced, competent, and insightful of any of the candidates who are still in the campaign, or who have left it. By all rights, he should be the next President.

Huckabee is the man who can trusted to run the country.

McCain should step aside for Huckabee if accusations of improper favours given to lobbyist(s) is/are true.

There are also questions to be answered about why certain ex-lobbyists are currently now heading the McCain campaign.

Thank you for your wonderful coverage of Mike Huckabee in Plano Tx. It is encouraging in a time of biased reporting to have a major news network offer fair and balanced reporting regardless of personal beliefs and stands. Miguel de Cervantes, a Spanish novelist, poet, painter and playwright, is one of the most important and influential people in literature.

That was not a shot, it was a fact. Obama is inexperienced, and his resumee'' is too thin. He has no substance to his "change" policy. He has never accomplished anything in the Senate. He''s been absent 174 times from the senate. He''s just an intelectual smooth talker, suckering in a bunch of ignorant suckers. People very ignorant to the politcal issues. I''ve seen the media go out on the street and ask people on the street, "Who are your voting for and why? When they say Obama, they tend to fumble over words and say that they want change." These people don''t even know what he''s about. One guy in Houston said, he''s voting for Obama because he likes being part of the crowd. That''s just stupid. I''ve seen this too much. Obama is a joke and the people that follow him are just as stupid. It''s like putting everyone on an airplane with a pilot that has never flown a plane. And that to me, my friend is dangerous. The only candidate with traditional family values and hope for this country is Huckabee. It''s just that the media downplays him too much. Huckaboom, Huckabam, Huckabee! Go Mike!!!

Obama has no real experience at running our Government. Obama is a great speaker, but what we need is a great leader who is also a great speaker!

Huckabee was nemed the top 5 Governors in America by Time Magazine for turning Arkansas around. Mike Huckabee was Governor of Ark for 10 and 1/2 years.

Mike Huckabee is also a great speaker who writes his own speeches and talks straight from his heart.

This is the man I trust with our country''s future. Obama wants to "drop the guns and run." What a quitter. We are winning in Iraq. Leaving now is NOT a good idea. Go Huckabee. Texas will give you a win, then it''s on to the Convention.
