Barack Obama, Coming To A Jukebox Near You

(AP Photo)
Sure, Ted Kennedy is great. But he's no Scarlett Johansson.

Johansson appears along with John Legend, Herbie Hancock, Kareem Abdul Jabbar and others in a song and music video by will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas that sets Barack Obama's words to music.

The celebrities speak and sing Obama's words, often along with him, as a guitar strums in the background. The refrain is an Obama slogan: "Yes we can."

The video is likely to appeal to young voters, who tend to favor Obama but traditionally do not vote in large numbers. It was uploaded to YouTube two days ago and has already been viewed nearly 700,000 times.

will.i.am told ABC News on Friday that the speech was inspired by Obama's speech after the New Hampshire primary.

"It made me reflect on the freedoms I have, going to school where I went to school, and the people that came before Obama like Martin Luther King, presidents like Abraham Lincoln," he said.

Oh my God, I saw that video...lol Scarlett Johansson and the others, give it up and go find yourself a job at walmart. you guys really s*ck. Man, so much creativity, I bet that took you people a lot of time to piece that together, not! I thought I was listening to a broken record. yes we can, yes we can, yes we can, yes we can. Sounds like a kindof devilish chant song. I can''t believe that people idolize Obama like that, or anyone for that matter. I don''t idolize no one. Im not going to lower my self to that level where someone is high above me. Thats not going to happen. They are no different then me, I know I''m unique and no one could ever be compared to me, I value this. So I have no need to worship anyone except God who is no ordinary person and who does stand on high.

This jumble is music?
Played on jukeboxes? You got to be kidding!
Well.....we now know who writes their own music. :)
Evidently the writers strike includes songwriters too.
Hurry...for God sakes...end the strike!
The only young voters this will attract are the ones with no taste in music.

That slogan is not Obamas, that belongs to the cartoon Bob the Builder, and Obama is no Builder, or a uniter, anyone a member of the church he goes to can only be a racist, and God knows what else.

Be carefull what you pray for and in the meantime search on yahoo or google the article written by Steve Sailer on Obama''''s Identity Crisis. Speaks volumes about the core reason that many won''''t be brainwashed into putting Obama in office. This is not a man for all Americans.

I thought this was one of the most effective political spots I''ve ever seen. I''ve watched a lot of campaign commercials in my time, and I''ve never been inspired -- it seems to me the only ads that ever have an effect are negative.

For a few minutes after seeing it, this cynic got the funny little feeling in his chest that people have told me might the emotion we call "inspiration". I''m not sure, but it''s possible.
