Romney’s Feeling The Mitt-Mentum

(CBS)
MANCHESTER, N.H. -- Joined by his wife Ann and Sen. Judd Gregg, R-N.H., Mitt Romney greeted early-bird primary voters this morning at Brookside Congregational Church.
“The fact that I’m in contention for the top spot is very encouraging to me,” Romney said to a swarm of reporters. “And I think based on what I’m hearing — particularly over the last couple of days after that last debate — this is something I’m probably going to win.”
The former Massachusetts governor arrived just after Mike Huckabee shook hands with voters outside the same precinct.
“I’m very pleased with the support I’ve been getting, particularly among undecided voters,” Romney said. “We’ve been calling over the past couple of nights a lot of voters. I guess they said last night about 100,000 they called over the last day alone. They’re breaking my way, so I’m full of high hopes and high expectations.”
Romney said that even if he does not win here, his campaign will be ready to move onto Michigan — the next Republican primary state — likely with the highest number of total votes of any Republican candidate. Asked whether he thought the race would go through the big February 5th contests, Romney said that he thought it would.
“There are always possibilities that it could be resolved faster than that,” Romney said. “But, you know, I don’t think it’s realistic to think I’ll get landslides in all the remaining states, so that being the case, I think I’m all the way through February 5th.”
The secrets of tennis legend
I wouldn''t tout Time magazine endorsements among conservatives. They also picked Putin as their "Man of the Year". For those who don''t remember the cold war, Putin was communist KGB through and through. He hates the US and it''s status as superpower--I have a feeling that Time has the same opinion.
As far as the rest of the comments, you''ve spent too much time reading the spin on his website and not looking at the facts. Under Huckabee, taxes went up 500 million dollars.
And while Huckabee might be an "authentic" social conservative, he''s not authentic fiscally, or on his national policy.
When the NEA endorses you, it''s time to turn in your credentials as an "authentic conservative".
I don''t want to burst your bubble because you seem so happy in it. Half of the stuff you posted is simply not true. The other half is based solely on your opinion.
Huckabee is isn''t the guy you''d want to work with at the factory, not the kind of guy that could run a business. He''s just not competent enough...maybe in 2012 he''ll have a better shot after he matures a bit.
Haha. Perhaps some landslides to cover and bury him.
