DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Confessed Dallas rapist Sir Khalil Young turned himself in Tuesday afternoon according to the Dallas County Sheriff's Department.

Young was wanted for a probation violation for a previous Sexual Assault and also for Failure to Comply with Sex Offender Registration Requirements.

Two years ago Young was sentenced to 45 days in jail and probation for raping a 14-year-old classmate.

Judge Jeanine Howard was harshly criticized by people who felt the sentence was too lenient and for publicized comments that appeared to blame the victim for the attack.
