FORT WORTH (CBS 11 NEWS) - Zack Clements, known to many as the "Miracle Kid", is out of the hospital and back home in Brownwood.

Doctors at Cook Children's Hospital in Fort Worth released the 17-year-old from their care on Sunday.

The teen had collapsed earlier in the month while running in P.E. class. He was without a heartbeat and oxygen for nearly 20 minutes before he was revived. Clements says during the time many believed he was dead he saw Jesus, and heard angels singing. He and his family believe it was divine intervention that saved his life.

Zack returned home on Sunday night and visited with the his high school friends, as well as the first-responders who administered first aid and transported him to the hospital.
