Temperatures across North Texas rise to the mid-90s before the weekend

Thursday has been another day of above-normal highs. We are expecting an even warmer day on Friday. 

There is not much weather to get in your way this weekend if you are heading to Grapefest.

We may have just enough surface moisture for a weak upper air disturbance to develop on Saturday afternoon. Coverage looks modest; any shower activity that cranks up won't last much into the last hours of daylight.

That looks to be about the only rain chance in the 7-day forecast. A weather pattern shift starts to show up in the forecast going into the following weekend. Until then, enjoy these mild late summer days.
