Sniffles and Sneezes and Hot Temps
Happy Monday morning. After a great weekend with temps in the low to mid 90s, our weather pattern will shift this week. Weather headlines show that we are dealing with pollen increasing today and the August heat is back.
Temps just before 6AM across the metroplex sit in the upper 60s to the low to mid 70s.
Today will be Mostly Sunny and we will see temps just below average. Our average high for this date should be 97° so while we won't make it up to 97° today we are creeping closer.
The other story we are talking about is the pollen. Ragweed is back in the pollen count numbers this morning. While it is low, Ragweed is already causing a problem for allergy sufferers.
A low pressure centered near Houston will move SW today and bring a small chance of rain in the forecast for our far SE counties. The rain chance is quite low but there is a possibility of a passing shower.
There are more chances for rain later this week but again they are low.
