Man Dies Trying To Cross Dallas Highway

DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - A man has died this morning after being run over in East Oak Cliff last night.
Dallas Police say the incident happened on Ledbetter Drive just west of Sunnyvale around 10:30 p.m. Sunday when the unidentified man was struck trying to cross the busy multi-lane highway.
The injured man was transported to a local hospital where Police say he died this morning.
The driver, who also suffered minor injuries, stopped to help as required by law, and police say no charges are likely.
