Kayaker Rescued In Denton Creek

LEWISVILLE (CBSDFW.COM) - One person was swept away but later rescued after a kayak flipped over in Denton Creek around 3:45 p.m. Saturday.

Lewisville Fire Chief Tim Tittle tells CBS11, two people were in the kayak when it flipped.

One was able to swim to shore.  The second person was not, but firefighters rescued him and he is okay.

Firefighters from Lewisville, Carrollton and Coppell responded.
