Fort Worth Neighbors Brace For Another Storm

FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) - Many residents in Fort Worth are still cleaning up after last week's storms, but they may be in for another round Sunday night

The Turner family is watching CBS 11's newscast and listening to the weather teams' every word.

The storm came very close on Friday. A neighbor's roof was hit hard by a tree the winds threw against the house.

The South Hemphill Heights neighborhood of Fort Worth experienced a lot of tree damage and power outages two days ago.

Joey Turner and his wife got their generator ready, just in case Sunday's expected storms do damage.

They had plans to go out, but due to the storm they canceled and decided to stay home.

"We're hunkering down, so we're going to take precautions, get flashlights ready, get our little generator ready and just be ready," says Joey Tusrner.

There are still a lot of trees on the ground in their neighborhood from Friday's storm.

The focus right now the Turners and their neighbors is preparing for Sunday night's possible storm.
