3 killed after multi-vehicle crash in Fort Worth, police say

A 41-year-old North Texas man has been arrested and charged in a multi-vehicle crash that killed three people, according to the Fort Worth Police Department.

Brian Hoy is currently in custody Tarrant County Corrections Center on two counts of manslaughter and one count of aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury, according to police records.

The crash happened just after 4 a.m. on April 5 at 700 W. Risinger Road. Fort Worth PD said when officers arrived, they found multiple cars were involved and three people were pronounced dead at the scene.

One victim has been identified by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner's Office as 19-year-old Taunya Lynn Freeman.

Officers said other victims, not specifying how many, were taken to the hospital for their injuries.

Details surrounding how the crash occurred or how Hoy was involved have yet to be released.
