OKLAHOMA (CBSDFW.COM) – A new anti-bullying proposal in Oklahoma would fine students $50 for breaking its rules.

Hitting bullies in the pocket book is a different approach from suspending or expelling them.

Bullies would also have to seek counseling or do community service.

Advocates said the idea behind the new proposal is to keep parents involved and their kids in class.
