The quake had a depth of a little more than three miles.

This temblor comes after a swarm of quakes shook Irving last week. There were more than a dozen earthquakes reported in a little more than a 24 hour-span.

Since the beginning of the year there have been 18 earthquakes in the city of Irving. The tremors have ranged from 1.6 to a magnitude of 3.6.

After the quakes rattled North Texas officials with the City of Dallas announced that they will review emergency response plans for the city.
