NEXT Weather Forecast: Quiet weather pattern expected for Saturday and Sunday

NEXT Weather: 6 p.m. weather report for Sat. Aug. 9, 2025

The rain has moved out and temperatures on Saturday will feel slightly cooler than Friday, with highs in the mid 80s.

Overnight temperatures will be in the high 60s to low 70s for much of the state.

Wildfire smoke returns on Sunday, with an air quality alert in place from 9 a.m. Sunday to 9 a.m. on Tuesday. It will be orange — unhealthy for sensitive groups — for the metro area and red further north.

Humidity will fall as we head into the start of the work week, with temperatures in the mid 80s.

Storm chances return towards the end of next week.
