NEXT Weather: Another round of light snow arrives late Wednesday
MINNEAPOLIS — Count on another day that feels similar to most of the other days in the last two weeks.
The forecast high in the Twin Cities on Wednesday is 27 degrees, but it will feel like the upper teens due to wind chill.
Snow will fall again in the late afternoon and early evening, but it won't be steady. Expect scattered snow showers with about an inch of accumulation in the metro.

We won't add much to the snow depth this round. We remain below the seasonal average. Highest snow totals this time, will be coming off the lake for Duluth. @WCCO #mnwx #wiwx pic.twitter.com/7yNX0qOr33
Heavy snowfall is in the forecast Wednesday night and Thursday along Lake Superior's north shore, where the National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning along much of Highway 61.
Thursday will be colder, with falling temps in the day and teens to single digits at night.
WCCO's NEXT Weather team is also monitoring a storm that will produce heavy snow on Friday into Saturday, though right now the heaviest accumulations look to stay south of the metro.
A NEXT Weather Alert will be issued Saturday in anticipation of nasty cold air. Below-zero days and nights with dangerous wind chill values arrive Sunday. A wind chill advisory may be in the cards, with feels-like temps near minus-35 possible.
