Mild Friday night on tap with rain possible early Saturday morning
Friday night football games should be dry with temperatures in the 40s.
Scattered light showers will develop around midnight and linger through the morning hours of Saturday.
The weekend will be dry following the early Saturday morning rain, with high temperatures between the mid-50s and low 60s, and lows in the low-to-mid-40s.
Light showers are possible on Monday and Tuesday in western Minnesota. The second half of next week looks seasonable and dry, with high temperatures in the low-to-mid-50s.
Freeze warnings were in effect until 9 a.m. Friday for the southeastern part of Minnesota, as temperatures were forecasted to be in the 20s and 30s.
