Cooler, calmer end to the weekend; potential for snow or rain on Monday

NEXT Weather: 6 p.m. report for Minnesota on Nov. 16, 2025

You can expect plenty of sunshine to wrap up the weekend.

Tailgaters at the Vikings-Bears game can expect upper 30s, but it is expected to be in the 40s by midday.

The 40-degree temps are expected to remain through the start of the work week, but Monday night brings a system that will increase cloud coverage and the potential for rain or snow. The metro is looking at a mix of rain and snow, with less than half an inch of slushy accumulation. There is the possibility for a narrow, heavier snow band to drop over an inch of precipitation along the Minnesota River Valley.

Overall, next week is looking seasonable with highs staying in the low 40s and lows close to 30.

Another system could throw a few showers our way late in the week.
