Stuck train horn disrupts West Side residents' sleep overnight, Metra says

Stuck horn on Metra train to blame for waking up West Side residents

For some residents, it was hard to sleep overnight due to a loud horn at Metra's train yard on the West Side.

Metra said that they received multiple calls about the horn going off at the train yard near California and Chicago Avenue in Humboldt Park.

The horn is stuck in the "on" position.

At least two mechanics were called to try to stop the blaring sound.

The horn was eventually shut off just before 6 a.m.
