White House explains Gen. Flynn's resignation
During the White House press briefing Tuesday, Sean Spicer told reporters that President Trump asked for the resignation of National Security Adviser Mike Flynn after learning that Flynn had misled Vice President Mike Pence. "The issue, pure and simple, came down to a matter of trust," Spicer said.
