Putin defends NSA surveillance: Needed to fight terrorism

During Russian President Vladimir Putin's annual news conference, he stated that the National Security Agency's controversial data collection program is needed to fight terrorism. Also, he said his government does not control NSA leaker Edward Snowden who is living in Russia under temporary political asylum. Norah O'Donnell reports.
