GM expands recall to 2.6 million cars

General Motors is expanding its recall of cars because of defective ignitions switches that are blamed for more than a dozen deadly accidents. GM first learned about the faulty ignition switches in 2001 but didn’t start the recalls, which now includes 2.6 million vehicles, until 2014. Vinita Nair reports.
