FDA chief: Trans fats ban would save lives
The Food and Drug Administration announced its plan to gradually phase out trans fats from the American diet. FDA Commissioner Dr. Margaret Hamburg says reducing the levels of trans fats in the American diet could save thousands of people from preventable death. Chip Reid reports.
