FDA approves expanded uses for immunotherapy
The FDA expanded the approved uses for an immunotherapy drug that has successfully treated certain lung cancers and melanoma. The treatment that triggers the body's own defense system to fight cancer was used by former President Jimmy Carter, who reported a few months later he was cancer-free.
