Extra: Retracing Shannan's path
Attorney John Ray, who represents Shannan Gilbert's family, traversed the marsh where Shannan's possessions were found and, a quarter mile away, her body was discovered. He wanted to test the police theory that she wandered into the marsh, shedding her clothes and belongings, and eventually died from drowning or exposure to the elements.
