Booster seat safety report: Expensive models not necessarily more secure
Children in booster seats are 45 percent less likely to sustain injuries in crashes than kids restrained by seatbelts alone, the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety reports. This year, a record number of new booster seats models received the highest possible rating, but some of the most expensive brands aren't necessarily getting the highest safety rating.
