Bernie Sanders: Election rules are “crazy”
Sen. Bernie Sanders says he is disappointed that America boasts “one of the lowest voter turnouts in general of any major country on earth.” The Vermont senator specifically points to his native New York state, where he notes 3 million Independents are ineligible to vote in primary elections. “I think that that is pretty crazy,” he adds.
