Storms return to North Texas on Friday as system moves in

North Texas enjoyed a pleasant Thursday afternoon, but forecasters say conditions will shift as another storm system approaches from the west. While the Rangers’ home opener should stay mostly dry around the Metroplex, areas farther west are expected to see scattered storms develop Friday, followed by more widespread rain overnight into early Saturday. The system currently bringing snow to higher elevations in the Rockies is moving east and will drive the next round of showers into North Texas.
