Details of the guest list for Prince William and Kate Middleton's upcoming wedding have emerged, and singer Sir Elton John and partner David Furnish are among the notables who have received invitations to the royal event, according to the UK's Daily Mail.

Guy Ritchie, film director and former husband of Madonna, will be in attendance, according to the Daily Mail. It is not known whether his invitation allows him to bring his girlfriend Jacqui Ainsley, who is pregnant with the couple's first child.
While their mom, Sarah Ferguson, Britain's Duchess of York, was reportedly snubbed by the royal couple and left off the guest list, her two daughters, Princess Beatrice, right, and Princess Eugenie made the cut, according to the Daily Mail.
Thomas van Straubenzee, seen here with Kate Middleton at a rugby match on Feb. 10, 2007, in London, is one of Prince William's closest friends and is expected to be in attendance. Known as "Van," he met the prince as classmates at Ludgrove Prep School. They frequently travel together, including the time when William toured New Zealand in 2005.
Katie Percy, seen at her wedding to Patrick Valentine on Feb. 26, 2011, in Alnwick, England, is rumored to have been invited through her royal connections. Percy, who also is considered a friend of Kate Middleton and Prince William, is the eldest daughter of the Duke and Duchess of Northumberland.
