Youth detention supervisor arrested on sex abuse

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- Authorities say an Albuquerque youth detention facility supervisor has been arrested for allegedly sexually abusing female juvenile inmates.

Albuquerque police say 54-year-old Richard Bradberry is accused of criminal sexual contact, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, false imprisonment and voyeurism.

Authorities allege that Bradberry groped three two 16-year-old inmates and one 17-year-old inmate.

Investigators say they were able to corroborate some of the allegations with the facility's surveillance footage.

All three alleged victims are at the Camino Nuevo Youth Center, where Bradberry worked as a youth care specialist.

The Albuquerque Journal (http://bit.ly/neVSco) says Bradberry has been a CYFD employee for about 10 years.

He's now been placed on administrative leave after being arrested at his home Friday night.

It was unclear Saturday whether Bradberry has a lawyer yet.
