Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has announced his return to the ring.
The star of the new movie "Journey Two: The Mysterious Island" is turning 40 this year, but he said on "CBS This Morning" he feels great and is craving a return to the ring -- and his fans.
"I love the connection with the audience," he said. "And so, for me -- plus I grew up in wrestling. My grandfather used to headline Madison Square Garden. My dad, as well. There is no greater connection for me than a live performance with the audience. ... There's that need for that live crowd interaction. It keeps you on your toes."
"The Rock" said he is planning his return to the ring in his hometown of Miami on April 1. The event, he said, will be promoted as "the biggest match of all-time."
He said, "I can't wait."
"The Rock" also talked about turning 40, playing the ukulele, his family, and moving past divorce. Check out his full interview in the video above.
"Journey Two: The Mysterious Island" opens in theaters Friday.
