Whole Foods Racist Announcement Leaves Sour Taste; Wal-Mart Knows the Feeling

EDGEWATER, N.J. (CBS/AP) "All blacks leave the store."

The words had an all-too-familiar ring to them, this time heard over the public address system of a Whole Foods Market in northern New Jersey, where police say a 14-year-old girl grabbed a courtesy desk microphone Saturday to make the racially charged remark.

The comment carried echoes of the past -- the very recent past. You may recall police in Washington Township in southern New Jersey arrested a 16-year-old boy last month for twice commandeering a mike at a Wal-Mart, where he allegedly ordered, "Attention Wal-Mart customers: all black people leave the store now."

Authorities believe last weekend's incident may indeed be a "copycat" situation.

The girl, and the boy, are both charged with bias intimidation and harassment.
