Vin Diesel pays tribute to Paul Walker at People's Choice Awards

When Vin Diesel took the stage at the People's Choice Awards to accept the award for Favorite Movie on behalf of the cast of "Fast 7," he was clearly thinking of one co-star in particular -- Paul Walker, who died in 2013.

"I was cool while I was sitting in my seat and then they handed me two awards, one for Favorite Action Movie and one for Favorite Film. You all thought that this was your favorite film," he said, clearly moved. "So I think of Dom and Brian and I start to think of Paul."

He also said, "We have the best cast ... I kind of crazily told [producers] we could get to 'Fast 10' with our cast."

Diesel paid tribute to his friend and said that he and the rest of the cast "didn't want to come back to filming" because the tragedy was "too heavy."

He finished his speech by singing a line from the hit song by Wiz Khalifa: "It's been a long day without you my friend and I'll tell you all about it when I see you again."
