Video of Hakimullah Mehsud Distributed Online

A short video showing Pakistani Taliban commander Hakimullah Mehsud emerged on militant Islamist Internet forums today. The video, which did not bear the logo of any of of the known jihadi media organizations, was filmed on November 29, 2008during a press conference that Mehsud held in Urukzai.

Mehsud is the Taliban commander for the areas of Kurram, Urukzai, and Khyber. He is the top aide of TTP chief Baitullah. His fighters appeared in the video firing their machine guns at a plane flying above them.
