UConn Campus Evacuated Amid Bomb Threat
Connecticut state police said that the University of Connecticut's West Hartford campus was evacuated Thursday morning after receiving a bomb threat.
CBS affiliate WSFB in Connecticut reports that the campus was in the process of evacuation at 10 a.m.
This is the second time since this week that the school has received a bomb threat. Students and faculty were sent home for the day after the threat was known on Oct. 19. School officials said that the first bomb threat targeted a specific building on campus.
Approximately 1,400 undergraduate and 600 graduate students attend the West Hartford campus, which is the largest of the University of Connecticut's campuses.
