Two cases where music is better than any speech (at a wedding and high school event)

(CBS News) It is said that people are more afraid of public speaking than dying (to which Jerry Seinfeld once made the quip that "you're better off in the casket than doing the eulogy.") But what if you happen to be a great musician? Well, we have two cases of that to show you starting with the video above. Watch what happens when a wedding speech by the groom gets replaced with an epic song instead. It's a bit long at 14 minutes, but I promise it's well-worth it.

The wonderful and creative way to perform the traditional wedding speech was performed and posted by Tom Fletcher, one of the lead vocalists of the hit English pop rock band McFly, who writes about the romantic moment captured on camera:
Here's my speech from our wedding 12-5-12. It's possibly the most nervous I've ever been in my life (about the speech, not the wedding!).
I got a load of ideas by watching other speeches on youtube so if there are any future grooms on here in desperate need of inspiration (like I was) then I hope this helps. I'm useless at public speaking so this was my solution!

And a public performance captured on tape in 2010 has only recently caught our attention. Check out high school student Christopher Tamwoy play guitar at the Woodridge State High School Awards Night posted by YouTube user jenasale. All in all, two wonderful performances that have earned big triple-rainbow salutes of musical excellence from us here at The Feed!
